Mexico City is a dream stop for museum bums and cultural expression devotees. Lots of museums.

The museum is all around you.

Over the past few years the vibrant street art scene has grown to be proudly displayed on almost every corner. Centro Historico, which features a vibrant scene on the streets of Regina, Isabel la Catolica and San Jeronimo, features walls lined with creations by artists from all over the world.

You can’t see it all, but you can see the best.

With so much to see, it would be a tall order for any tourist to see it all. Modern mural art of abstract and illusionist expressions mix in with colorful pieces that harken back to the city’s colonial and ancient Aztec past. Visual art lovers who stay with us for a short period of time almost always lament that their stay wasn’t long enough.  We felt the same way, so we took up residence here and called it our home!

3 ways to get the most out of your short CDMX trip.

For me, photos can hardly capture the beauty of this colorful city.  This fact has never really stopped me from taking as much photos as I can. My phone’s storage is proof, being filled to capacity. And here, in the heart of the city is often where I find the most unique and colourful pieces of work.

Moral: Take my advice, give yourself the opportunity
