Tribute to Your Senses: Coffee Fair Sets Up Shop in Mexico’s City Square
If you’re a fan of a good cup of Joe, you’ll want to jolt down to Mexico City’s historic city center for the 3rd annual Coffee Fest Mexico. It’s a chance to sample coffee from diverse regions of the country, and support the the “Coffee can save Mexico” campaign with every sip. If you were wondering if good coffee only comes from South America, this event will leave you with no doubt that when it comes to coffee, Mexico is well endowed.
Roasted, ground, and poured! ☕️
Small and medium producers of Mexican coffee from all over the country along with professional baristas, roasters and other coffee sector professionals will be on hand to guide visitors through all of the process and hard work done from farm to cup that results in the best coffee in the world.
Beyond bringing amazing coffee experiences to the historic center of Mexico City (known as “Zócalo”), this event is a way to honor those who make it possible for Mexican coffee to continue jump-starting our mornings, as well as a way to highlight the greatness of Mexican coffee through an interactive and sensory real-time coffee museum. There’s a pavilion dedicated to each of the five senses. And for the coffee geek in all of us, there’s also a log of discussion about the history, consumer trends, botany, production and culture of our favorite drink.
